I don’t know about you but I am so ready for spring. I miss the warmth, the sunshine, and the longer days. And I’m tired of snow.
One of my favorite DIY projects is a wreath. I have an obsession for them. In fact, I have one for every season. They makes entryways more inviting.
Today, I am going to show you how easy it is to make one.
Embroidery hoop wreath
You’ll need:
- Embroidery hoop
- Faux flowers
- Glue gun
Arrange and glue the flowers on the hoop. I used two kinds of flowers. The larger one, which I got from Dollar Tree, is a peony. You might have some idea that it’s my favorite flower — if you think about it.
Hydrangea wreath
You’ll need:
- Grapevine wreath
- Faux hydrangeas
- Glue gun
Arrange and glue the hydrangeas to the grapevine. I got these from Michaels during last spring’s clearance sale.
Couldn’t get any easier than that, right? In fact, so easy you might even think “why bother?”, but I actually had a friend ask how to make one. So I’m thinking, “why not a post?”
Quick-and-easy wreaths are just one more reason every woman should own a hot glue gun. No permit required.
In a few weeks I’ll start planting seeds and keep them indoors in anticipation of spring. I can’t wait!
