Are you looking for Christmas tree inspiration? Read on and I’ll show you how I decorated my Christmas tree using red and white.
It’s hard to believe that November is almost over. My family and I went to Virginia to celebrate my birthday. We arrived at the hotel around 2 pm and rested for a little bit before going to the pool. Fifteen minutes later and we heard the fire alarm going off. We immediately put our shoes on, grabbed my purse, and walked down the lobby. Whew! Thankfully no one was hurt.
The kids enjoyed the pool. We also went to see Morven Mansion. The entire property is beautiful and very scenic. We were lucky to see the gorgeous colored trees surrounding the mansion. We did not take the tour inside the mansion, but I would definitely love to see it when we come back.
I look forward to decorating our Christmas tree every year. I like to come up with different themes each year. To me, decorating a Christmas tree is a great way to express my creativity. I like to challenge myself to create something pretty and different.
My theme for my Christmas tree this year is plaid red with white. I got the Christmas ornaments from Walmart and Hobby Lobby. My sister and I love to go post-Christmas shopping for Christmas decor every year.
The inspiration for this tree is these plaid Noel ornaments. I added rustic houses, velvet red balls, berries, birds, pom-poms, and feathers. I like to add different styles, shapes, and textured ornaments to create interest.
Garland is one of my favorites to decorate the mantel. I love how it completes the look. I got these plaid Christmas trees from Walmart which also matches my plaid ornaments.
I love these stocking holders. Aren’t they cute? These stockings are from Michaels I got them a few years ago.
I used plaids, green and red pillows to match our Christmas tree.
I hope this red and white Christmas tree theme inspires you to decorate your Christmas tree.
Happy Thanksgiving!
