Are you looking for a neutral Christmas theme this year? In this post, I will show you my neutral-flocked Christmas tree and simple mantel decor.
November is one of my favorite months. Not only because it’s my birth month, but because it’s when my Christmas decor goes up! As you know, Christmas is my absolute favorite season. I enjoy coming up with new ideas and inviting the warmth of the season into my home. It’s so much fun!
My sister and I always shop for end-of-season deals. We’re buying next year’s decor at this year’s bottom-dollar prices (50%-75% off)! We love Hobby Lobby and Walmart. The blowout prices on Christmas decor are our version of Black Friday, LOL. Half of our basements are Christmas decor!

This year I went black and white with blush accents. I got my Christmas tree (similar here), flocked garland and sign from Walmart, and the fur stockings from Hobby Lobby (similar here). Love the stockings! Not only do they look cozy, but they also match my faux fur tree skirt (similar here).
Over the years I’ve done winter wonderland themes but this year I wanted something new. Although the colors are not Christmassy I love how it turned out!
I added custom Dollar Tree DIY ornaments to my tree. I love how they look on the tree. The plaid adds pattern and texture.
I added white ornaments to brighten it up and to contrast the black. These blush faux fur ornaments are great.
Almost all the ornaments you see are from Hobby Lobby or Walmart.
I need a bit more mantel decor. I’ll see what I can find at this year’s end-of-season blowout.
I always look forward to decorating for Christmas. It’s a few days’ work but so worth it. It brings all of us joy. What you can’t see in these pictures is the Christmas music (often jazz) that is frequently playing in our house.
When the world’s in such a state of disarray why not situate a Christmas mood. Just add a well-dressed tree, the right decor, and a bit of music.

I hope this black and white Christmas tree theme inspires you to decorate your tree soon. Let’s make the most of the season. Let’s get a head start on enjoying the wonder of Christmas!
