This post is about decorating our patio or outdoor space for spring. I will share how I styled our patio with neutral and boho home decor using Better Homes and Gardens Lilah Outdoor Wicker Furniture from Walmart.
Spring has sprung and I couldn’t be happier. I love the longer days and warmer weather. I don’t know about you but this makes my heart so happy.
One of my favorite things to do in the spring is gardening. I went to Walmart and got two blueberry bushes and strawberries. I also bought an apple tree from Lowes’.
I bought maybe 4 blueberry bushes before and only one survived. I have a hard time growing them but I think it’s because they need acidic soil to thrive. I’ve never tested our soil for acidity but I used Holly Tone to make the soil acidic.
I’m crossing my finger that they will survive this time. Blueberries are one of my favorites fruit. We enjoy blueberry picking in the summer at our local orchard. We have geese and squirrels in our backyard so I bought a cheap fence for the plants.
I’m so sad that my peach tree died last year. It had some kind of disease. I treated it but it did not work out. So I replaced it with a gala apple tree. My oldest daughter loves to eat apples and I love apple pies 🙂
Our weather is finally warming up. I cleaned the deck and started decorating for spring. I really enjoy rearranging furniture to create a different look.

I ordered a new outdoor rug from Amazon. It’s made of plastic straw. I like that it doesn’t absorb water and it’s easy to clean.
The only downside is, it doesn’t last as long as the Polypropylene outdoor rug. However, for the price point, I’d prefer the plastic straw rug or camping mat.
My old area rug was from Hobby Lobby. It unraveled and the edges are starting to fall apart. This new area rug is better quality than the ones at Hobby Lobby or Walmart. The edges are sewn together well to prevent unraveling.

We purchased our new Lilah wicker outdoor furniture last year from Walmart. I love the look and the boho style. It fits my style and I love how it brings warmth to our outdoor space.

I want the space to feel like you’re on vacation somewhere in Arizona or the Mediterranean. I added boho touches like tassels, pampas grass, and a wicker basket for a laid-back and inviting vibe.
Patio Decorating Idea Number 1.
For the first look, I used pops of colors – rust and pink. I added pampas grass, a wicker basket, throw pillows, and a blanket. For greenery, I added a cactus plant.
Patio Decorating Idea Number 2.
For the second look, I use neutral pillows and blankets. I switched the throw pillows and blankets for a more neutral look and kept the rest of the accessories.

As you know I currently love a neutral look. However, after seeing all the photos, I actually like the pops of color better. I think it’s because everything else is so neutral like our deck railings that the neutral decor just blends in.
On the other hand, the pink and rust accents really pop against the wood and white furniture.
I hope you enjoyed this post and gave you an idea of how to decorate your outdoor space for spring. Which patio look do you like? Let me know in the comments below.
